"Lost" actresses Michelle Rodriguez and Cynthia Watros, were both arrested for drunk driving Wednesday night in Kailua within fifteen minutes of each other. Bummer.
Cynthia ("Libby") was arrested at 12:05 a.m. and Michelle was arrested at 12:20 a.m.. The actresses, who were in separate cars, were stopped after their cars were spotted weaving on Pali Highway, which connects Kailua and Honolulu, police said. Both failed field sobriety tests and were released Thursday morning on $500 bail each.
They'll be required to appear at a driver's license revocation hearing at Kaneohe District Court on December 29. According to reports, motorists who are arrested for driving under the influence automatically have their driver's licenses revoked, although they will then be issued a temporary license with restrictions. That's probably not a good idea in Michelle's case.
Michelle, who plays the ass-kicking trigger-happy ex-cop Ana Lucia on "Lost", is taking her tough chick image a little too far. The consequences could be severe for her since she's already had driving related troubles in 2003 in L.A.: she pleaded no contest to three misdemeanors -- a hit and run, driving with a suspended license, and driving under the influence. She spent two days in jail, did some community service and went in for treatment in a 30-day alcohol program.
The girl just doesn't have a thing for cars. Michelle, who's 28 now, reportedly didn't have a driver's license before filming "The Fast and the Furious" in 2001 and only got one when she had to train for the car chase sequences.
