Clay Aiken fan-aniacs are furious that a former Army Ranger who has gone public with his claim that he had a gay sex romp with "American Idol" superstar in a hotel room. Oh, you knew this day was coming ...
According to PageSix: "alleged Aiken love toy John Paulus has been deluged with death threats from the singer's fervent fans ever since his name was leaked onto the Internet as the man who was blabbing to the National Enquirer that he had sex with their beloved Idol, who's repeatedly denied being gay."
WTF??? Clay is gay? He's gay Clay? Who knew?? I can't imag -- oh, wait, yes I can.
Paulus claimed that Clay IM'd him on December 16 using the screen name "ValleyPrettyBoy." Than after about a month of correspondence, Clay admitted he wanted a "discreet bf." He and Clay agreed to meet at the Quality Inn in Garner, North Carolina.
"He wrote, 'Hey man, I see you're online. I'm 26 years old from Raleigh and would love to talk. I have pics but I have a very recognizable face and I can't post the pics. I would be happy to send them to you if you can promise absolute discretion."
Paulus added that in later e-mails, Aiken "told me that he had just come out of the closet to his mother and a few close friends last year. He told me that he was single again, having broken up with his boyfriend about five months ago."
Of the meeting, Paulus says, "Clay told me his ex-lover was selfish and mean. And within five minutes he started to feel my arms and put his hands on my leg. We started to mess around and Clay said he wanted to have sex with me. Before I knew it, we were having unprotected sex. He kept telling me, 'We're going to do this many more times.'"
Enquirer editors say Paulus has passed a lie-detector test. He's also said to have saved his instant-message exchanges with Aiken, as well as a "DNA-encrusted washrag." (Ew!) Paulus swore he wasn't going to sell out the singer, declaring, "They couldn't PAY ME ENOUGH to have my pics on the supermarket stand. I am not the type of guy that would make life difficult for anyone."

Who cares? So he might be gay. Big deal! Reading the previous comments, it would seem some of you consider this pejorative in some way. Why? A lot of people are gay and it has nothing to do with their talent or how great an entertainer they are!
I say who cares? Unless you're his wife or girlfriend, it doesn't involve you.

Well, maybe he is gay, but so what? I don't see what the big deal is. Gay or not, he is still a very talented man. Anyway, Paulus is just out for fame; I highly doubt that this is how Clay Aiken meets prospective mates.

I think that Paulus is just saying that for publicity. Im a claymate myself, but this is how I feel. So what if hes gay. I dont care if he is, but what bothers me is that people really want to hurt him and thats really not fair to him.
So if he is gay thats fine but dont make up lies to hurt someone you hardly even know.
