Wannabe Pop star Ashlee Simpson is now saying she regrets hauling her drunken ass up on the counter at a McDonalds in Toronto and asking a fan to kiss her feet, but she adds that the video was all pieced together to make her look bad. Kind of like what happened at the SNL taping, Ash? And the Orange Bowl? Was that all bad editing too?
She says, "I was being a little, you know, silly and crazy that day. The guy in line behind me was like, 'Uh, you're gross' but he didn't know who I was until I turned around. Then he was like, 'Can I have my picture with you?'" and I was like, 'Dude, you called me gross!'"
Simpson says the embarrassing event has made her stronger and forced her to deal with public expectations again after her SNL lip-synching incident. She adds, "I feel it was a moment of growing up. Most people do that in college - mine has to be done in front of the world." Unfortunately, she offered no explanation for her crappy singing.
