Matthew McConaughey and Sarah Jessica Parker star as sweethearts in the film "Failure To Launch" but off-screen the hunky actor reportedly couldn't stand Parker, and would later admit that he found her "peculiar."
The pair starred together in the recent romantic comedy to be released on March 10, and sources on the set say filming was anything but fun.
One insider told Msnbc's The Scoop website, "Matthew gets along with pretty much everyone, but he basically couldn't bear Sarah."
The southern gentleman recently made an appearance on Oprah Winfrey's show and seemed to struggle when coaxed to say something nice about the former "Sex And The City" star.
When asked by Oprah to sum-up what it was like to work with Parker, the hunk finally came up with, "Great comedic timing," and then added, "Very peculiar, too. Man, she's a very interesting woman. Yeah."
