Nicole Richie has confirmed that filming for a new season of "The Simple Life" will begin on February 24. She's doing the show with her former best friend Paris Hilton, even if they aren't speaking.
"We are filming it, but we are never, like, in the same room," she said.
However, insiders are wondering if it will actually come off. "Paris is still consulting her lawyers to come up with a last-minute way out," a source close to the show told Star People. "She wants no part of it. She's about to launch her first album in a few months, and that's what she wants to focus on."
As for the feud between the stars, Nicole told Guardian Weekend magazine that it isn't as bad as it seems: "It's not that we've fallen out, it's just that she's no longer part of my life. I think it's much more important to her than it is to me."
Even if she and Paris can't get along, Nicole and her ex-fiance Adam "DJ AM" Goldstein have reportedly made up and are back together again.
