Eminem is working to end his fued with his mom, who is suffering from terminal cancer, by paying her medical costs.
The rapper, who hasn’t spoke to Debbie Nelson in years, had previously made his hate for his mom public by releasing his anger at her on many of his tracks. This promoted her to slap him with a multi-million dollar defamation lawsuit in 2002, which was settled out of court for $26,000.
"The nightmare Debbie has been going through with her cancer has put everything in perspective,” a source has revealed.
"She is very weak and knows the prognosis is bleak. She is desperate to build bridges with her son and put things right before it's too late.
"He has recently started helping her financially with her medical bills. They've spoken a few times on the phone and now she desperately hopes he will visit her."
Em’s been going through a rough time recently, his best friend and bandmate Proof was killed earlier this month and he is in the process of divorcing his wife Kim for the second time.

I'm a 60 year old mother of 3 grandmother of 7 ,and I admire Eminem . trying to make his marriage work ,and now his heart has softened for his Mother. I'm very sorry for his loss of a band member

I'm 43 and SINGLE (hint hint EM!) and respect EM for living his life the way he wants. I'm sorry that his marriage, that he tried so hard to hold together for the kids, didnt work out but Crack Addicts arn't the best people to raise children. I think its Kim who still has a problem, not EM. He's not perfect however his heart is in the right place. I'm glad he's helping his Mom, thats very honorable. That is very weird that after all the fued betweem them to. And eminem wanting her dead, has changed. He wanted her dead to him for so long. Now that she may die. He has changed his mind. That is so cool of eminem to work things out with her.
