Jessica Simpson says she will fight the $100 million lawsuit she was slapped with by a jeans company who accuse her of failing to promote their products as promised.
The allegations against Jessica are "absolutely untrue,” her lawyer Jed Ferdinand says. “That's what the evidence will show, and she will vigorously fight the lawsuit."
The blonde babe reportedly inked a multi-million three-year deal in 2004 with the Tarrant Apparel Group to launch a bargain clothing range, but the company say the singer and actress failed to wear clothes from the JS by Jessica Simpson and Princy collections at enough "public events, shows and appearances".
The company has also complained that when Jess was asked by the press last year to name her favorite brand of jeans, "instead of responding 'Princy,' she said 'True Religion.'"
