"Lost" actress Michelle Rodriguez pleaded guilty on Tuesday to driving while drunk, choosing to pay a $500 fine and spend five days in jail rather than do 240 hours of community service.
Michelle, who portrays police officer Ana Lucia on "Lost", and cast member Cynthia Watros were both charged with drunken driving after they were spotted weaving along a freeway and were pulled over Dec. 1 in separate cars within 15 minutes of each other. Michelle originally insisted she was not guilty when she appeared in court in January.
When a judge gave Michelle the option of jail time or community service, she opted for lock up. The actress was given a day to put her affairs in order and she'll be taken into custody and transported to a women's prison on Hawaii today. But that doesn't mean she's done with serving time.
Michelle could face even more jail time if Los Angeles authorities decide she violated her probation for a 2004 DUI arrest. She faces a hearing on that next week, after she is released from a Hawaiian jail. If found guilty in LA, she could be sentenced to serve more than 16 months behind bars.

If I was to be locked up in Hawaii with Michelle Rodriguez I know which option I'd choose. :P

She must have been found guilty in the next court date a week later b/c they killed her off Lost!Michael shot her!

This story makes me wanna be an inmate in this particular correctional facility. Jail with Michelle Rodriguez or home being normal? Hm.... Jail. Yes please.
