We've heard the stories about Janet Jackson being mysteriously sick - so much so that she's had to cancel six dates on her Rock Witchu tour. Is it really vertigo as her brother, or someone posing as her brother, Randy, said on a fan website?

But a former family spokesperson is calling BS on the excuses - the ex-employee says it's because the 42-year-old isn't getting the love from her fans that was once there. In other words, they ain't buying tickets to her shows!

"I sit there and I'll look back and I'm like: I'm a smart person. What the hell was I thinking?" Brit says at one point during the 1 1/2 hour documentary, 'For the Record', produced in partnership with MTV.

Matt Roloff Takes Little People Show to Big World in Iraq

Matt Roloff of TLC's "Little People, Big World," took a recent trip to Iraq to film a special episode about a family that has three children with dwarfism. Roloff learned about the Iraqi family from a pal in the military who has a child who is a little person. The TV star took a doctor with him to help with an issue the family had.

"It was life-changing," Roloff said of the trip. "Unbelievably, life-changing. I've always been a proud American. I went over being very much disconnected from the whole conflict. It's way different from the way the media is always portraying it. It was a very, very eye-opening experience. Very rewarding."

“I Kissed A Girl” singer Katy Perry makes quite a few revelations in her October interview in Blender magazine. For one thing, she claims her wild ex-hippy mom, Mary Hudson, dated rock legend Jimi Hendrix. Katy says her mom ran away from home, toured the world, and hooked up with the guitarist in Spain when he "just came up to her in a club and picked her out."

Katy says her dad was an LSD dealer, whose friendship with acid king Timothy Leary, nearly killed him. "He would have died from one tab too many if he hadn't found God."

Travis Barker Talks About His Recovery and Fear of Flying

Drummer Travis Barker is on the mend after being involved in the jet crash that injured he and his friend, DJ AM, and killed four others. Barker suffered second and third degree burns on his hands and lower body but was able to give an interview to Us magazine during his stay at the Grossman Burn Treatment center in L.A.

He says: "I hate planes. My biggest fear ever is to be involved in a plane crash, so when that happened … well, I’m just thankful to be alive! I’m just grateful to be here at all."

Ana Aguirre of the L.A. police department says photographer Mark Morgan Kreusch filed a police report accusing the 38-year-old actor of misdemeanor battery.

Dominic Monaghan to Star in Futuristic Fortuna

Talk about great timing! Worldwide economic collapse, climate crisis, and culture wars, Dominic Monaghan and Freddy Rodriguez have signed on to star in Fortuna, a futuristic flick set in the year 2100.

The Hollywood Reporter says that the horror flick (what else would it be?) will depict a time of economic crisis that leads to the "elimination of the middle class, leaving only the megarich and the severely poverty stricken." Oh! T.i. is so like 2008!!

Halle Barry is Sexiest Woman Alive Says Esquire

Esquire magazine has crowned a new "Sexiest Woman Alive" for 2008 and the title goes to eternal beauty Halle Berry. The new mom is rightly stunned: "Well, I don’t know exactly what it means, but being 42 and having just had a baby, I think I’ll take it.”

On the other hand, the actress did have to wonder why it took the mag so long, since her Bond girl orange bikini days ("Die Another Day") was six years ago.

Just three months after pushing a bowling ball outta her loins - it was rumored that young mom Jamie Lynn Spears is rarin' to relive the whole childbirth experience again, Real soon! She and boyfriend Casey Aldridge welcomed daughter Maddie on 19 June, and now the National Enquirer claims she conceived a second baby with Casey just four weeks later.

The Enquirer reports: “Jamie Lynn is about eight weeks pregnant, and she and her mom Lynne are hysterical,” revealed a close source. That's the rumor the Enquirer started anyway...

Last year, rocker Courtney Love wrote on her MySpace page that she lost her excess pounds "the hard way" by "determination and grit" and following a strict diet.

But now a friend of the rocker says that Courtney is uber-skinny because of a secret gastric band she had done two years ago. Since Love was not obese and could not have had a BMI over 30, you wonder where she found a surgeon to do it. Does the story sound like BS to you too?
